Does the Shadow Assessment impact my funding?
Yes – Despite this not being the messaging for the first period of the Shadow Assessment, the Department have since confirmed that the AN-ACC Assessment classification received in the Shadow Assessment period is the classification the Resident will transfer to AN-ACC on.
They have confirmed that the intended implementation date for AN-ACC would be October 1 2022 (unless delayed pending a whole range of factors such as COVID). Given what is going on around Australia currently with COVID – we 100% believe the implementation date could be delayed. We are unsure what that means for transition currently though.
