COVID-19 TEMPORARY ADDITIONAL DAILY AMOUNT INCREASE
In March 2020, the Government announced $444.6M in additional funding to support the Aged Care industry amidst the pressures of tackling COVID-19.
The temporary additional daily amount is in effect from March 1st 2020 – 31st August 2020.
2020-21 ACFI RATES
We have included in the ACFI Rates total table:
- ACFI Rates total from 1 July 2020 – 31 August 2020, which includes the Temporary Additional Daily Amount.
- ACFI Rates total from 1 September 2020 – 30 June 2021
The ACFI rates are as follows:

Interim rate for new residents with an ACAT approval awaiting submission of an Application for Classification (default rate) – $58.73 plus a temporary additional daily amount of $0.71 = $59.44 for the period 1 July – 31st August 2020.
