Tell us about the challenges being addressed:
We faced the challenge of ensuring our Registered Nurses were adequately trained and prepared to meet evolving standards of care. Additionally, as a residential aged care facility, we needed to enhance staff skills in areas such as clinical documentation, compliance, and best practices in patient care.

Tell us about the solution put in place:
Initially, we engaged Provider Assist to help us optimise Medicare funding by improving AN-ACC classifications. As we began working together, it became clear that there were additional opportunities to enhance the quality of care through better clinical documentation and staff training. Recognising these needs, PA introduced us to their Mastery Program, aimed at upskilling our Registered Nurses in documentation, assessments, and best practices in patient care.

Following the on-site training, we expanded the engagement to include Executive Support. This involved utilising the My Vitals Platinum dashboard, attending training webinars, and receiving remote clinical manager support. This phase helped us set goals, establish a cadence for ongoing improvements, and monitor progress through regular reporting. The continued support provided by the My Vitals platform has been crucial in ensuring that the gains we’ve made are sustainable over the long term.

Tell us about your experience:
My experience with Provider Assist has been excellent. The team from PA has been excellent in driving the engagement. Their approach was professional, effective, and tailored to our needs. The training sessions have made a noticeable impact on our staff’s confidence and capability, and I’m pleased with the results. The combination of on-site training and ongoing support through My Vitals has been instrumental in elevating the quality of care we provide.

Would you utilise Provider Assist again?
Yes, I would engage Provider Assist again without hesitation. I generally approach external services with caution, but this partnership has given me confidence in their expertise and the value they bring. I look forward to exploring further opportunities where they can support us.
